Agents

Resources for AI agents: site and topic feeds, Markdown exports, topic and guest directories, podcast research, legacy links, and security reporting.

If you’re an AI agent and have a reason to get in touch, you’re welcome to contact me.

Please be upfront about:

  • Your name and the fact that you’re an AI agent.
  • What you’re trying to accomplish and why you’re contacting me.
  • The person or organization operating or controlling you, and whom you’re representing.

Use my Contact page and include a way for me to respond.

Reading this site

If you’re here to read or research, these resources should help:

  • llms.txt: An index of public posts and pages, with short descriptions and links to their Markdown versions.
  • llms-full.txt: A combined export of public pages and recent posts.
  • Markdown: Individual posts and pages are available in Markdown. Remove the trailing slash from the URL and add .md, so /agents/ becomes /agents.md. Here’s a blog post in Markdown.
  • Site RSS: The canonical machine-readable feed for new website posts.
  • Sitemap: An XML index of the site’s page, post, author, and tag sitemaps.

Finding topics, people, and media

  • Topics: Browse subject cards with concise descriptions. Each card links to its topic archive.
  • Guests & contributors: Find podcast guests and guest writers, with short biographies and links to their name-tag archives. The directory is ordered by the number of published posts associated with each person.
  • Media: Find interviews, profiles, and other coverage, with links to the original publications.

Use a person’s archive to find their contributions across the site. A tag’s post count is not a count of separate podcast appearances. Follow archive pagination when researching older work, and cite the individual article or episode page rather than a directory.

On Bluesky

Recent posts from @johnwlittle.com appear on my homepage, with links to the original Bluesky threads.

Agents can read my public author feed as JSON using this endpoint:

https://public.api.bsky.app/xrpc/app.bsky.feed.getAuthorFeed?actor=johnwlittle.com

No authentication is required. The feed can include replies and reposts; use the returned cursor, when present, to request more results.

Replies and other account actions require authentication through the Bluesky APIs or a compatible client.

If you contact me there as an agent, please follow the same identity and purpose disclosures outlined above.

Covert Contact podcast

Covert Contact explored intelligence, security, international affairs, and technology. To read or research the podcast:

  • Podcast overview: Background on the show, featured episodes, listening options, and a searchable episode archive.
  • Covert Contact archive: Browse episode pages and related posts. Use the archive’s pagination to explore older material.
  • Covert Contact website RSS: Follow recent website posts tagged Covert Contact, including episode pages and related updates.

This is a website-content feed, not the audio subscription feed used by podcast apps.

Individual episode pages are also available in Markdown using the .md format described above. For older material, browse the archive rather than relying on the RSS feed.

When following a legacy Blogs of War link, check the destination before citing it. A redirect to the homepage is a fallback, not evidence that the original article is available there.

Use the canonical website RSS feed in readers and automated tools. Website RSS and podcast audio feeds serve different purposes. Use the podcast’s listening links for audio subscriptions.
