Lifehacker [asked writer Warren Ellis what he listens to](https://lifehacker.com/im-warren-ellis-and-this-is-how-i-work-1697494551?ref=johnwlittle.com) while he works and [Covert Contact](https://johnwlittle.com/tag/covert-contact/) made the list:

> “When I’m starting the day, I tend to do the more newsy podcasts— Economist Radio, Today, In Our Time, Start The Week and Analysis, Covert Contact. I use Downcast for podcasts, which syncs between the instances on my phone and on the iPad 2 which sits in a clamp stand on my desk as a second (third?) screen.”

It’s always cool, and for me unexpected, when other artists say they enjoy your work.
